What is included in a blessing bag
Individuals experiencing homelessness are welcome to drop in once per week to receive a Blessing Bag.
Blessing Bags are thoughtfully prepared to meet the unique needs of those who may not have access to a kitchen, refrigeration, or cooking equipment. The items included are ready-to-eat, easy to open, and require little to no preparation. Whenever possible, bags contain practical, nourishing foods that can be consumed immediately or safely stored for later.
These bags are designed to provide immediate relief while recognizing the realities of living without stable housing. In addition to food, items may occasionally include hygiene products or other essentials when available.
