The Salvation Army Leamington Community Church and

Community and Family Services

The Salvation Army Leamington Community Church and Community and Family Services has a long maintained role of working with some of the most vulnerable members in our community. We offer a range of services, which reflect the needs and desires of our community. Our services include: a food bank, and a community garden; social activities; programs for mothers and caregivers of young children; and more.

Our services are designed to try and reach everyone and anyone who may need The Salvation Army’s support. We work every day to be a transforming influence in the community. Through our Community and Family Services programs we support the ability of people to empower themselves at all stages of life to break the cycle of poverty and reduce isolation.

Offering an eclectic range of services with the goal of assisting those who need them most, The Salvation Army’s services continue to be a necessity to many in our community.

🌟 Where Your Generosity Truly Goes 🌟We often share about our need for food and toy donations… but today, we want to show you the impact of your kindness.Featured in this photo with Major Kathryn Ritson and Community Program Coordinator Derik Hyatt are Outreach Workers, Melisa Ortiz and Teresa Sharp from the Consulado de México en Leamington and MIGRANT WORKER COMMUNITY PROGRAM. This afternoon, they visited our Toy Shop with 11 families—most of them new and expecting mothers who have recently arrived in Canada, seeking a safer, brighter future for their children.Because of you—your donations, your compassion, your belief that every child deserves joy—these families will experience their very first Christmas in Canada filled with warmth, dignity, and hope.We witnessed tears. We witnessed gratitude beyond words. We witnessed the realization that they are not alone.A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers who welcomed these mothers, guided them through the process, and served with patience, love, and open arms all afternoon. You made their experience wonderful. This is where your donations go.These are the lives you touch. And this is the true spirit of Christmas! #GivingHopeToday #Christmas #christmas2025 #salvationarmy #salvationarmycanada ...
